About

The East Africa Tourism Network was formed in November 2009 at the CBI’s (Centre for the promotion of imports from Developing Countries) Tourism Expro 83 seminar on tourism in Rotterdam.
Founder members from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Burundi united to form the East African Tourism Network.
The participating companies have been selected, audited and coached by the CBI.
Now that the CBI is providing members with access and knowledge to such a broad range of European travel markets, East Africa Tourism Network is eager to join forces and present a fantastic package to the respective East African destinations.
One example would be to offer tourists a comprehensive experience of East Africa’s wild life.
The fifteen travel organizations already committed to the East Africa Tourism Network will maintain a high quality standard, financial accountability and seamless cooperation among the members of this new network.
